The next 3 pictures are of an area where we have spotted deer in the past. We are always ready to snap their picture, but we really have to be quiet and quick. I usually let Herb walk ahead with the camera so that together we don't make too much noise.
Fernald is a great place to hike! So serene and even when you pass other hikers they are always quiet and respectful of the surroundings so no one's experience is ruined by unruly people.
