Winkin, Blinkin' and Nod were born late Saturday, June 30, 2012. Winkin' is at the top of the pile of kitties in this picture. Definitely, as big as the rest.
Here's Winkin' on July 15th still looking pretty good. I did have to help her get her eyes open, but she was still doing well.
Pictures of Winkin' around July 27th/28th. Seeming a bit smaller than the other two, still moving about but not really playing.
I love her furry little head in this shot...she's still up and moving around.

Then things she just started to fade. The other two were up and wrestling and climbing. Winkin' getting jostled between the other two when they were nursing. We bottle fed her, and tried to get her to eat kitten food soaked in warm water...she took some. At times we kept the other kids busy while Winkin' tried to nurse by herself. The following are our last pictures of Winkin' from August 3, 2012.
Winkin' died some time after midnight, Sunday morning, August 5, 2012. She is buried in our backyard. We have a paver for her headstone which I will mark properly as her place of burial. Such a sweet little kittie, who lived just 5 weeks.
